Frequently asked questions
Straight answers, including the awkward ones.
If you're buying from a liquidation seller for the first time, you probably have a few questions you'd feel rude asking. We've answered them here so you don't have to.
Where does your inventory come from?
We buy full pallets and lots through wholesale liquidation marketplaces, the channels major retailers use to clear customer returns, overstock, and shelf pulls. Our inventory comes from the liquidation channels of Costco, Amazon, Target, and Walmart. Every purchase comes with an invoice and a manifest.
How do I know this merchandise is legitimate?
It's a fair question and we'd rather answer it than have you wonder. The marketplaces we buy from are closed auctions that require a registered business with a resale certificate to bid, and every pallet comes with paperwork.
We don't buy from individuals, we don't buy off the street, and we don't take consignment from people we don't know. If you ever want to know where a specific item came from, ask us and we'll tell you.
Why is it so much cheaper than retail?
Once a box has been opened, most retailers can't put it back on the shelf as new, and holding unsold seasonal stock costs them more than it's worth. So they sell it off by the pallet at a steep discount to clear the space.
We buy at that price and do the sorting and checking ourselves, which is why we can list things well below what the store would charge and still make it work. It's the same product, minus the retail markup and usually minus the original box.
Is the merchandise new or used?
Both, and we tell you which on every single listing. Some of it is overstock that was never sold and never opened. Much of the rest is customer returns, and most of those came back for reasons that have nothing to do with the product working. Wrong size, wrong color, changed their mind.
Every listing uses one of Facebook Marketplace's standard conditions, so there's no guessing.
What does "tested" actually mean?
If it plugs in, we plug it in and run it long enough to be satisfied it does its job. If it has a battery, we charge it and check it holds. If it came with parts, we check they're there.
Anything that doesn't pass gets listed as Used – Fair with the fault described, or doesn't get listed at all.
Can I return something if it doesn't work out?
No, all sales are final. There are two of us working out of a warehouse unit and we're not set up to run a returns desk.
Look the item over and try it out when we hand it to you. If it isn't what we described, don't take it.
Does it come with the manufacturer's warranty?
Assume it doesn't. Most manufacturer warranties require proof of purchase from an authorized retailer and don't transfer through liquidation. A sealed item may still be covered, but we can't promise that and we won't claim it.
Everything we sell is sold as-is, with no warranty from us. We're a reseller rather than the manufacturer, so we don't verify recall status or safety certifications either. If that matters for something you're buying, check with the manufacturer first.
What you can count on is that we describe things accurately and you get to check the item before you pay for it.
Can I see an item in person before I buy?
Yes, and we encourage it. Plug it in, run it, look it over. If it isn't what we described, walk away and you owe us nothing. We'd much rather lose a sale than have you take home something you're unhappy with.
Where are you located? Can I come browse?
We work out of a warehouse unit near Elliott Road and I-10 in south Phoenix. We're a working shop rather than a storefront, so there's no walk-in browsing.
Message us about a specific item and we'll sort out delivery or a collection time, and send you the exact address.
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash on delivery or collection, plus Zelle, Venmo and Cash App. We also take card, which carries a 3% processing fee added to the total.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Most larger items we'll deliver free if you're within about 30 miles of the shop near Elliott and I-10. Ask when you message us and we'll let you know.
Do you sell whole pallets or bulk lots to other resellers?
Not at the moment. We break every pallet down and sell items individually so we can test and clean each one, which is the whole point of how we operate. If that ever changes, we'll post it on our Facebook page.
